Create Your World With Your Word

Isn’t it interesting how creation started with confusion? God creating everything from nothing – Genesis 1:2-3 (AMP). With the coronavirus pandemic, it is easy to see only confusion. However, as Christians who have the DNA of the Creator we can create the world we want with our words.

Genesis 1:2-3 (AMP): The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. And God said[b]“Let there be light”; and there was light.

Waste and Emptiness: Some of us feel like year 2020 is over… plans and programs gone. For me, I had my pay significantly cut which was a little tough. Many are experiencing worse – loss of jobs, loved ones, health, business opportunities, and not forgetting loss of savings/investments.

Darkness: Many are battling with loneliness, fear and depression. Statistics show a surge in mental illness and domestic violence; The tracking poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation, conducted March 25 to 30, found that 45 percent of adults say the pandemic has affected their mental health, and 19 percent say it has had a “major impact”. In Britain, London’s Metropolitan Police said it had carried out over 4,000 domestic abuse arrests in the first six weeks of the country’s lockdown, and that calls relating to domestic abuse had risen by about a third.

God said: Here’s the best part sweet friends; in the midst of the waste, emptiness and darkness, God spoke the world he wanted. The world we live in and enjoy today was created by the words of the One who spoke differently.

Today, I urge you to only speak the world you desire into existence. Despite this crisis, you can recreate your reality with your words. Instead of speaking waste, speak grace. In place of emptiness, speak wellness and speak light to every darkness in your life. Your words have creative power so use them to create the world you would like to experience. Don’t speak what you’re going through, speak where you’re going to. It may not happen instantly, don’t stop. Keep speaking until you see what you speak.

Sometimes, our circumstance might be bleak and makes us weak. Child of God, you have the Holy Spirit in you to help. All you need to do is invite Him into your situation and with His presence and power draw strength and begin to prophesy. Just like the prophet in Ezekiel 37:1-10 was instructed by God; you too must command life, prophesy health and declare abundance upon every dry and dead areas of your life.

So whatever and I mean whatever you’re going through now… you can reverse, recreate and restore it with your spoken word. When there’s a cast down, say there’s a lift up, Job 22:29. The enemy doesn’t have the last say over your destiny. YOU DO! Stay strong in God!!

“Instead of speaking waste, speak grace” Love your usage of rhyme and words here. We forget that we can speak positive words into any situation and command life into things we believe are dead or done. Just like in Ezekiel. This is is my favorite post right now.
