Until you move don’t expect God to move. Like a chess game, God is saying it’s your move son, it’s your move daughter. God won’t do for you what you ought to do for you. The problem with us is that we deceive ourselves by waiting for the “right” time or moment or conditions or opportunity. What are you waiting for? The time to take that step is NOW. Quit waiting for the right or perfect moment because it does not exist.
Psalms 37:23-24 (KJV): “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with His hand.”
I’m sure many of us have utilized the GPS on our smart phones to get to a destination. Ever observed sometimes the GPS doesn’t give you exact directions until you’re in motion. The moment you hit the road, the GPS calibrates and calculates your trip giving you clear, precise directions.
As you navigate, the GPS begins to guide you to your destination. It gives you reports about crashes, road blocks, slowdowns, faster routes, traffic cameras and even cops (LOL). But all these only happen when you hit the road.
Same way folks; God expects you to take that bold step, hit the road, do that which He has laid in your spirit, then He begins to guide and lead you. He gives you ideas, strategies and insights to accomplishing your dream. Many of us wait for the perfect road condition (no cops, no traffic cameras, no crash, no slowdown – ‘just perfect’). But God is telling you to take that step NOW, make that move NOW, start that business NOW, confront your fear NOW and then you’ll behold the glorious destination He has for you.
The scripture above encourages us to be in a state of constant motion, progress or advancement and assures us that when we fall or meet obstacles on the way, God is right there to uphold us. However, you need to take that first step of faith.
Some scriptural examples (KJV): God instructed the Israelites to go forward and Moses to stretch forth his rod and as they did, the red sea gave way to dry land for them (Exodus 14:15-16). Ten lepers became cleansed as they went to show themselves to the priest (Luke 17:14). The woman with the issue of blood was made whole cause she pressed through the crowd (Mark 5:27-29). The four lepers in (2Kings 7:3-8) came into unexpected provision cause they decided to move rather than sit and die.
Friends, if you don’t take that step of faith, you’ll never know what could have been and what you’re capable of achieving. The time is NOW! Take that step!! Just do it!!!

Of all the posts on your site this is the one the Lord directed me to read! Thanks so much! It was a right on time message. I read a word somewhere and then heard that same word in a sermon, that God will work with your leftovers. But in order to even have something left for God to work with you would have had to do something to get something. You need to enact in order to emerge.
